Festivals Celebrated every year in Anandashram, Yavali
Shri Sayamdev was the greatest disciple of Shri Narasimha Saraswati of
Ganagapur, Gulbarga district, Karnataka and also the ancestor of Shri Gangadhar
Saraswati who composed "Shri Gurucharitra". The Potrait of Shri Sayamdev was
presented to Shri Shivasharanappa - the Manager of Datta Mandir in Kadaganchi,
Gulbarga District Karnataka on 05-07-09 on the auspicious occasion of P.P. Shri Arun
Kaka's Birthday.
In the year 2008, Shri Arun Kaka along with his disciples visited all the ancient and sacred places all over Karnataka state. His senior disciple Shri Damodar Kulkarni who belonged to Karnataka also accompanied him. During thier travel they visited Lad Chicholi and Kadganchi village in Gulbarga District.
Shri Kaka had a long desire to visit the main place where the original "Shri Gurucharitra Grantha" was written. So he visited Datta Mandir at Kadganchi. When P.P. Arun Kaka visited the temple, the locked temple doors opened automatically. The people around who witnessed it were spell bound by this magical incident. Shri Shivasharanappa who realised that Shri Kaka had immense power of spirituality implored "Hey P.P. Shri Arun Kaka - the incarnation of Lord Shri Dattatreya himself in this Kaliyug, I have wandered many places to gather as much information as possible regarding the generations of Shri Sayamdev but in vain."
I was unable to trace the information regarding scriptures, idols, written documents, photographs etc. about Shri Sayamdev and his generation or evidences of any other sort. Hence I request you to provide me atleast a single photo of Shri Sayamdev so that I can install it here in this temple. I am sure this task is possible only by your help and blessings. On this request Shri Kaka promised him of the potrait that it will be provided according to the wish of Shri Sadguru.
Days passed by. When Shri Shivasharanappa visited Shri Kshetra Yavali in the year 2008 on Datta Jayanti day, Shri P.P. Kaka once again assured him of the potrait Om Manah Shatidata Shri Gurucharanaaravindaya Namo Namahah 27 to be presented to Datta Mandir at Kadaganchi by Anandashram Yavali in due course of time. Thus Shri Kaka through his supernatural power and divine vision in his "Dhyana" brought potrait of Shri Sayamdev in front of his eyes and gave the directions to Shri Santosh Shyamrao Joshi to paint the potrait of Shri Sayamdev according to the features of the mental picture created in Shri Kaka's mind.
Shri Kaka chose Shri Santosh Joshi who is the editor of monthly marathi magzine "Satsang Dhara" is presently serving in the post of Manager in Peetambari Company Sholapur for this task. He spent his leisure time after his duty for this task. Due to his busy schedule and work load in the company, the painting work of the potrait was delayed. So he took part in Guru pournima Shibira in Anandashram in 2009 and stayed at Yavali for few days. He sought the blessings of P.P. Shri Kaka and in no time completed the painting of Shri Sayamdev's potrait. It marks the important milestone in the spiritual era. This is believed to be the fruit of on all the devotees of Shri Dattatreya who performed Shri Gurucharitra Parayan.
During the same time, P.P. Shri Kaka also visited Shri Sridhar Swami temple at Lad Chincholi in Gulbarga district. Shri Sridhar Swami who was born in Lad Chincholi was the greatest disciple of Shri Ramdas Sajjangadh (Jai Jai Raguveer Samarth). After resting in this temple for a while, on the request of all devotees and disciples Shri Kaka conducted spiritual discourse. This temple which was almost in ruins earlier is now renowed and has manifested itself into a magnificient temple after P.P. Shri Kaka's visit. All the activities are presently run by the trust of Varada village in Shimoga district Karnataka state.

A miraculous incident occurred on 17.07.2008 on the Gurupournima celebration day.
While P.P. Shri Kaka was delivering his spiritual discourse in Anandashram, Shri Kshetra
Yavali, the Palanquin (Palkhi) which was in seva for the past 27 years in Shri Kshetra Ganagapur, Gulbarga Distrct, Karnataka was presented as a gift to Anandashram,
Yavali.
During a casual conversation with Shri Damodar Kulkarni and Shri Suresh Kulkarni around two years ago, P.P. Shri Kaka had expressed his desire that the palanquin (Palkhi) which was in service in Shri Kshetra Gangapur to be sent to Yavali.
Ever since all efforts were made to turn Kakas' wish into reality. Finally it was fulfilled when this matter was brought to the notice of Shri Nand Kumar Bhatt - the pujari of Shri Datta Mandir Shri Kshetra Gangapur who had visited Yavali two times earlier consented to donate the palanquin in Gangapur to Anandashram, Yavali. With the collective efforts and kind co-operation of everyone and specially the members of Upasana Mandal, Gulbarga, the Kakas' dream turned into reality.

Within half an hour of this incident, another interesting incident took place. Shri
Siddhi Vinayaka idol which was about 200 years old was presented to Anandashram,
Yavali. The sculpture of seated Lord Shri Ganesha was carved out of Sanghamaravri
marble with trunk towards right side was shining with scintillating brightness and the
glory fascinated everyone present there. This idol belonged to Shri Yashwanth Rao of
Holkar's family. Shri Yashwanth Rao had given it to Shri Ganesh Mangal Murthi's father,
who was a geat worshipper and devotee of Lord Gajanan. So, this idol of Lord Shri
Gajanan became Shri Siddhi Vinayaka statue and thus daily Pooja, Archana, reciting
of Atharvasheersha Pathana every day continued.
Due to his old age all these rituals, Poojas could not be properly performed by him. So he thought of presenting this special idol to the religious centre or temple. Thus, he decided and visited 35 different places but was not satisfied as he could not seek a good place for worshipping his Lord Shri Ganesha. Meanwhile Shri Varahanavakar had visited Anandashram and suggested Shri Yashuvanth Rao to present this idol to Anandashram Yavali. Thus realizing that is an indication from his Lord Shri Siddhi Vinayaka, Shri Murthi arrived to Yavali along with the idol and presented to Anandashram. This was also foretold by Shri Kaka.

Satsang was organised in Jalgaon on September 2008 for five days.
Numerous devotees and disciples had gathered. The programme was well organised.
The requirements were adequately met without any defeciency. This was possible
because the devotees had inmense faith in Sadguru. Drushtanta day celebration was
termed as Anandotsava day, in which devotees and followers from Pune, Mumbai,
Sholapur and different branches had arrived to witness this happiest moment. The
Sabhagraha, where this Utsav was organized had been transformed into a place of
eternal cosmic grace by the Sadguru.
Shri P.P. Kaka told "Every devotee should strongly believe that Anandashram belongs to him and he belongs to Anandashram. Once this is strongly inbuilt in any individual he shall attain the perfect hormony in his life. Such feelings make him contented and an atmosphere of happiness prevails within and around him and nothing shall shake it".
Once Gurukrupa occurs, everything becomes possible. This was experienced by every individual who wittnessed this day. Shri Satya Datta Mahapooja and Bhavya Satsang was also organized by the people of Jalgaon in Upasana centre. Everyone were excited for the Pooja celebrations.
